GOMERA FLAMENCO TRIO
The three of us came together in La Gomera, and we naturally play flamenco. We are Cana, Ulises Arturo⬀, and Pepín⬀. Ulises Arturo⬀ is a guitarist raised between Madrid and Frankfurt and now based in La Gomera. His expression, influenced mainly by rock, his expressive melodies, and his passionate stage presence make him a very special musician. Pepín⬀, born in Asturias, is a musician and writer in charge of percussion: cajón, darbuka, cymbals, and other instruments.
La Gomera, one of the smallest and most charming islands of the Canaries, welcomed us and our music. We met there and have been performing in the winter season for more than ten years.
And finally, we play flamenco—our own flamenco, with compositions by Cana and Ulises Arturo⬀, more flamenco-influenced pieces, and versions of what we like to call “alterflamenco”, paying tribute to musicians who have blended flamenco with other genres.

And we play flamenco—what we like to call “alterflamenco”: our compositions and versions of musicians who, while rooted in flamenco, have explored fusions with other genres.
