COLABORACCIÓN
My first album was completed in 2005. It was a collaborative effort, a collective action that, beyond recording my songs, aimed to create art through self-management and group work. They are simple guitar-and-voice compositions, reflecting the musical curiosity and passionate ideals of youth. A fresh and, I believe, authentic work.
My first album was completed in 2005. It was a collaborative effort, a collective action that, beyond recording my songs, aimed to create art through self-management and the power of group work.
It gathers my earliest compositions, written years before, reflecting youthful musical curiosity and passionate ideals. Simple songs for voice and guitar with some instrumentation, always preserving the purity of the original idea and the excitement of those just starting out. A fresh and, I believe, authentic work.
I am especially grateful to Chico for being part of the whole process, and to Raúl Martín “Merri”⬀ for his great work in recording and mixing. Also to La Peke⬀, Alberto Balda⬀, Ñito, Toñín, Pedro Romero⬀, Eva, Manolo, Nenico and Cani, among others.
It was recorded with an old small computer, under truly amateur conditions, but with a more than satisfying result both technically—given the circumstances—and artistically and humanly as a whole.
I am deeply grateful especially to Chico, so present in every aspect that this can also be considered his album, and to Raúl Martín “Merri”⬀ for his excellent, hard and long work on recording and mixing.
Also to La Peke⬀, Alberto Balda⬀, Ñito, Toñín Metro, Pedro Romero⬀, Eva, Manolo, Nenico and Cani, among others, who took part from the beginning with great enthusiasm, all the way to the album release, entirely on a voluntary basis. Thank you all for believing in the project and in me as a musician and songwriter.
